At Celebration Church International, we believe fully in the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ; and in the saving power of the gospel. We are committed to knowing Christ and making Him known. We grow in the knowledge of Christ, and build ourselves up through regular in-depth teaching services, prayer sessions, and evangelistic outreaches.

We are a mission-minded church that believes in spreading the gospel to the uttermost ends of the earth, because we are the hands and feet of Christ on the earth. We believe that the gifts of the Spirit are at work in the life of the believer, so our services are an experience of the uninhibited flow of the Spirit through prayer, prophecies, and spiritual songs. We believe that the Word of God is the ultimate standard for doctrine. We believe that the Father’s biggest display of affection towards us is in the redemptive work of Christ. We believe that we are blessed because righteousness is credited to us through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Celebration Church began in November of 2012 in Nigeria. It has now grown to have many campuses in many countries. We thank our Lead Pastor Emmanuel Iren, who began the work and continues it around the world today. Pastor Iren and his wife Laju Iren live in Nigeria currently and have three beautiful daughters. Both are committed to living for the glory of God and seeing the gospel spread. Through Pastor Iren’s labor, so many people have been discipled and deployed to spread the message of Christ.

CCI USA had a unique start in that it began as an online ministry outreach when Pastor Iren held bible studies via Zoom for those in North America in 2020. After the bible studies, we continued to meet online and have fellowship in cell structures called M.A.P (meet and pray). Today, we have over 10 MAP groups in the United States with well over 200 members. We continue to host monthly prayer vigils together every month.

2022 was a year of big change, after two years of virtual gatherings we were able to meet in person when we gathered in Dallas for the first CCI USA retreat. October of that year, Pastor Iren joined us for a Special Sunday Service in Dallas. By January of 2023 we held our Inaugural service for CCI Dallas.

Our resident Pastor is Dr. Opeyemi Olokede. Opeyemi was trained by Pastor Iren and deeply impacted by the ministry of CCI in Lagos. Opeyemi came to the United States in 2017 to complete his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University, which he finished in 2022. While at Texas A&M, Opeyemi met Natalie at a bible study and the two were married in 2020.
